Daily Schedule Linky

Simply Second Resources is having a daily schedule linking party so I decided to post my intended schedule for advice and feedback. My team will be switching students for an hour next year for guided reading groups so this is the schedule I am planning:

8:50-9:15 Morning Work

9:15-9:45 CORE (Reading or Math Remediation/Extension)

9:45-10:00 Teacher Read Aloud (from a chapter book/author study)

10:00-11:45 Reading (switch with other classes)

• Reading mini-lesson
• Daily 5 (guided reading group)
• Daily 5 (guided reading group)
• Writing mini-lesson
• Daily 5 (guided writing group)
• Daily 5 (indiv. CAFE coaching)

11:45-12:15 S.S./Sci. (We alternate S.S./Sci. units so we never teach both subjects at the same time)

12:15-12:45 Lunch

12:45-1:30 Specials

1:30-2:40 Math

2:40-2:50 Pack Up/Jobs

2:50-3:10 Recess

3:10-3:25 Silent Reading

3:25 Dismissal
